Strategies to get the perfect Morehead City rental home experience:

When to visit Atlantic Beach & When to book:

  • To find the best vacation home within your budget, we recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Morehead City restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • In the Morehead City area, The earlier your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked early. Booking your vacation home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Morehead City area magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitor guide magazines contain deals for nearby accommodations and attractions.

Selecting and booking the best Morehead City rental:

  • Select a group lead, choose your dates, and choose a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Stunning Beach Front Resort has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is generally available on booking pages. If not, email the property owner before reserving the rental. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? If so, use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or charges may be applied to your agreement.

Advice for a fantastic stay:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property.
  • During check-in, note any damages to the property and immediately contact the owner. Record all coorespondence.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, intercom or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent lots of problems.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often times, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're gone! Don't let thieves ruin your holiday.
  • On check-out day, complete a final walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a excellent stay? Most rental websites make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
