Barefoot Beach Club is a triplex property, located between the sound and the ocean. With this listing, you'll have the entire top floor. Full kitchen, two full bathrooms, two master king bedrooms, additional room with dual twin trundle and queen murphy bed, additional queen murphy bed in massive living room, dining room, multiple desks for work needs, laundry in unit, beach outdoor shower. Home away from home!

Parking:
If there is no reservation in the other units, please feel complimentary to use the entire driveway. It will fit six cars. However if there is another reservation, please be sure to park your car(s) on the left of the driveway, leaving the right side for the other unit. The driveway fits a total of six cars, so if you were to have more than three, you can park in the street as well.

Note: As with any coastal home, you may encounter occasional bugs due to the wet and humid climate. We maintain a regular pest control schedule and ensure professional cleaning between stays. Seeing a bug will not result in a refund.

About the Area

Located in Atlantic Beach, this vacation home is near the beach. North Carolina Maritime Museum and Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Fort Macon State Park and Beaufort Historic Site. North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway are also worth visiting. Discover the area's water adventures with jet skiing and kayaking nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with ecotours and hiking.

Strategies for getting the perfect Morehead City vacation rental experience:

Getting the most from your rental budget:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Booking in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Morehead City vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites usually offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Morehead City visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guide magazines have coupons for local tours, shops, and attractions.

How to select the perfect rental:

  • Select a group leader, choose your vacation dates, and select a max budget.

  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is usually available on booking pages. If not, call the property management company before booking the vacation property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches. You will need to establish what is best for your vacation family.
  • Some properties allow pets, and others don't. Acceptable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the host about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction? Use a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.

Have a fantastic stay:

  • Take a copy of the host's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, stereo or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents a lot of concerns.
  • Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • To make certain no damages are linked to your visit, make a record of any problem areas during arrival. message the property manager immediately to document any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Be respectful. Frequently, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Leave a review! Property owners rely on good reviews to inspire new reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
