Welcome to Summer Breeze, Emerald Isle! Summer Breeze is a private triplex home, featuring THREE separate living spaces, each with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, a living room, dining area and full kitchen! This listing is for SUMMER BREEZE EAST, an upper-level unit with 3 BR and 2 BA, sleeping 7 total. See the bottom of this listing for all rental configurations available.

New to the rental market in 2022, Summer Breeze is located directly across from a beach walkway - you'll be on the soft sand in moments! Come home for lunch and snacks - don't worry about sand in the sandwiches! And there are enchanting vistas of the crystal ocean from the cavernous upper decks (East and West units). The slightly more petite lower unit on the East side, which we affectionately call "The Bungalow," offers ocean peeks, a shady patio and NO STAIRS to contend with!

All rooms - living areas AND bedrooms - in Summer Breeze have a view toward the ocean, and the decks will provide plenty of relaxation as the sun goes down! Kitchens are entirely outfitted with all of the essential items (pots, pans, dishes, silverware, flatware, serving dishes, appliances) you'll need to whip up a great meal! Summer Breeze also offers high-speed Spectrum internet and TV (1 sizable intelligent TV per unit).

A max. of 2 cars per units is allowed, so Summer Breeze East will have parking for 2 cars total, no exceptions.

Summer Breeze East (2830223) is an upper-level unit offering 3 BR / 2 BA, sleeping 7 people.
Summer Breeze West (2756822) is an upper-level unit offering 3 BR / 2 BA, sleeping 7 people.
The Bungalow at Summer Breeze (2821655) is a slightly more petite option with 3 BR / 2 BA, sleeping 6 people. This is a ground-level property with no steps to climb.
Summer Breeze East & The Bungalow (2756755) is a combination of the upper East unit plus the ground-level Bungalow. This offers a total of 6 BR / 4 BA (sleeping 13), and is a great option for bigger families traveling with elderly parents.
Summer Breeze, whole home (2535770) includes all three units, East, West and The Bungalow. This option offers a total of 9 BR / 6 BA, sleeping 20 people.

About the Area

Located in Emerald Isle, this vacation home is on the beach. Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier and Emerald Forest Golf are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Flatwaters Paddling and Emerald Isle Adventures. The Sweet Spot and Salty Pirate Water Park are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

How to get the best value:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Morehead City area. Book your vacation home in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • The sooner you can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation home six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.

  • Add the property manager's information to your phone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Make a record of any issues with the property at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are beneficial if a dispute is filed.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all of your things. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Hosts rely on good reviews to drive future reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your review find their best vacation rental. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
