It even improves your physical and mental health, the salt air, the sunshine, the tranquility of the waves and pastimes like watching sandpipers scurry make for a relaxing mood and peace of mind. At this oceanfront condo, the coastal lifestyle and all of the joy and activities that come with it are right at your doorstep.
This unit is as inviting as the ocean breeze, with a fresh, comfortable, and beachy vibe. The open living space leads to the balcony with ocean vistas — where you are likely to spend tons of time! Sip coffee at first light, watch the waves in the distance, and come back in the evening just in time for the sun to dip down over the horizon in a fiery glow. With a dining room, bright white and roomy kitchen and two bedrooms, this ideal locale is the ideal hideaway.
Southwinds is within walking distance of Fort Macon State Park with its myriad of nature trails and pristine beaches. The Atlantic Beach Circle is also close by and has so many cute stores and fine dining for friends in town or a fun nighttime out. If you prefer to stay close to home, swim in one of two pools or marvel at the glory of the surf and the sunset with appreciated ones. You will never tire of your vistas and access to the Crystal Coast!!

WHAT IS PROVIDED:
Spectrum Rental Properties will provide sheets and bath towels. Beach towels and equipment is not included. If you would like information on beach equipment units, we are more than happy to provide you with a list. Properties will be supplied with a starter kit in each full bathroom and kitchen. Each kitchen starter kit will contain a modest bottle of dish soap, two dishwasher pods, sponge, and two fragrance complimentary laundry pods. The kitchen will also have one additional trash bag
Each bathroom starter kit will contain a travel size shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, makeup wipe, and body bar.
Spectrum Rental Properties is unfortunately not able to provide additional boxes/bags. This is a starter kit; anything additional will be guests responsibility to provide.

How to get the best rental value:

  • Reserve your vacation in Fall or Spring months to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds. You'll need to determine what bed configuration is suitable for your group.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a great stay? Many rental home management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
