Pristine, freshly remodeled, ocean view queen suite. Your private-to-the-community beach access is only a few steps away, and the broad ocean view is yours to take in from inside the comfort of your beach getaway. Outside the unit, get comfortable in the oceanfront seating on the shared wraparound deck, relax in the gazebo atop the dunes, savor the oceanside pool, or grille out by the picnic tables.

The two-story condominium building is oceanfront, and your suite is oceanview. Your second-floor room is on the side of the building, three doors down from the oceanfront corner of the building. From the wraparound shared deck, you can see Shackleford Island where the descendants of the wild Spanish mustangs roam, and on a clear day, you can see the Cape Lookout Lighthouse off in the distance.

Atlantic Beach is located on a southward-facing island which, depending on the time of year, gives you the opportunity to see both the sun rise and set over the ocean! When the sun does set over the sound vs the ocean, you can take a fast drive across the street and down Pelican Drive where the public pier offers handsome photo opportunities.

This charming space is your own personal oceanside getaway. We modernized the condo with care and expert craftsmanship to bring tranquility and luxury to your beach vacation. We are proud of this handsome oceanview unit and would appreciate for you to call it home for your Atlantic Beach vacation.

Our top Rental home booking tips and tricks:

Money saving strategies:

  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in coastal NC. To book the best rental within budget, we recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Booking websites typically offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Morehead City area travel guides which often include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Finding the best vacation home in Atlantic Beach:

  • Start by having your family commit to date ranges and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Oceanside Beach Retreat has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is often available on booking websites. Otherwise, call the property owner before reserving the home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds. You will need to establish what is suitable for your vacation.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly rental. Make sure to ask for details on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a particular Morehead City destination you are crazy about, keep an eye out for properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.

Tips for a fantastic stay:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out and about. Protect your property!
  • To make certain that damages aren't linked to your stay, inspect for any problem areas when you arrive. message the host immediately to document any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a great resource to find the best local scenic spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Re-check the property to confirm that you've packed everything on check-out day. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent feedback to drive new reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your feedback find their best vacation home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
