Pristine, NEWLY refreshed, OCEAN VIEW queen suite featuring a NEWLY modernized, OCEAN VIEW wraparound covered deck. Located in an oceanfront condo community in Atlantic Beach, your private-to-the-community beach access is only a few steps away, and the broad ocean view is yours to take in from inside the comfort of your beach getaway. Outside the unit, get comfortable in the oceanfront seating on the shared wraparound deck, relax in the gazebo atop the dunes, grille out, or savor the oceanside pool.

The two-story condominium building is oceanfront, and your suite is ocean view. Your second-floor room is on the side of the building, three doors down from the oceanfront corner of the building. From the wraparound shared deck, you can see Shackleford Island where the descendants of the wild Spanish mustangs roam, and on a clear day, you can see the Cape Lookout Lighthouse off in the distance.

Strategies to get the best vacation rental experience:

Sticking to your spending budget:

  • The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation home up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • Summertime is high season in Atlantic Beach. To find the most suitable rental for your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Morehead City vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Look for your local Morehead City visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitor guide magazines contain deals for local shops and restaurants.

Use filters to narrow your search:

  • Choose a group leader, select your vacation dates, and choose a budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Ocean View - Oceanside Beach Retreat has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is generally available online. If not, email or call the property owner before you reserve your rental. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what is optimal for your family.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional fees or charges applied to your agreement.
  • If there's a certain Morehead City destination you long to visit, search for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

More considerations:

  • Add the host's phone number to your phone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent a lot of issues.
  • Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let thieves spoil your vacation.
  • To ensure that damages aren't attributed to your visit, note any problem areas upon your arrival. E-mail the host right away to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Be respectful. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to confirm you did not leave anything behind. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on good ratings to inspire new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
