My wife and I invite you to view our home and hopefully make it your summer stay. Our home is in marvelous location, set back from the street and surrounded by mature trees giving a private feel, but only a short walk to the beach. The land mass here is not very wide, only 5 rows of homes from the beach to the main road and 1 row to the sound. That means there is no rush to get to the beach, sleep in; plenty time to find a great spot. The beach is sizable and most days the water has a glistening emerald glow. Also, a new beach access was constructed in 2017 and located close to the home. Our home features a roomy and open reverse floor plan with ceilings vaulted eleven feet. New for this year is all three bathrooms have been upgraded with vanities, counter tops, water fixtures, led lighting and toilets. The master bath also has a new enlarged shower. The living room has new reclining couches and the 1st floor entry has all new led lighting fixtures. Lastly the top deck is now finished with composite railing and decking. The top deck is now bare feet friendly and just a great spot to hang out The kitchen is roomy and entirely supplied with everything needed to whip up a great meal, while watching the waves. There is seating for six at the kitchen peninsula. The main feature of the dining area is a handmade reclaimed wood table, that seats six comfortably and still have a nice view of the ocean.. After dinner hit the couches, relax and watch some TV. This year we replaced all the tv's with Samsung Intelligent TVs. They all have HULU loaded and now you have the ability to watch your favorite steaming service. Better yet, grab a drink and step out onto the deck and just relax, watch the waves and listen to that ocean. Also on this level are a half bath and a huge pantry. The 3 bedrooms are located on the first floor. We have a master with a king size bed, memory foam bed, attached bath, sizable closet and a wall mounted 55 inch flat screen TV . This room has access to the first floor deck. Second bedroom features a queen size bed ,memory foam bed, enormous closet and a new wall mounted 32 inch flat screen TV. This room also has access to the first floor deck. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds, a modest closet and a new wall mounted 32 inch flat screen TV. All the bedrooms feature ceiling fans. The main entry is on the ground level. As you enter the home you come into a laundry area/catch all, great place to drop all the beach gear. One flight up and you're on the bedroom level. Outside we have a huge private freshly constructed outdoor shower with hot/cold water with Trex decking next to a nice seating area under the home. Also, we have a large picnic table and a new gas grille, great for a fast outdoor lunch. Anyone making a trip to the beach knows how valuable that packing space in the car is, so we have beach chairs and umbrellas for you to use. We have plenty of parking and all the exterior lighting is dusk to dawn, making it safer coming and going at nighttime. We are located roughly 3 miles from the center of town, close enough to bicycle and discover. We are renting Sunday to Sunday. This year we added towels and linens into the booking fee, if you don't need them, let us know and they will be removed before you book. How to get the best value:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Emerald Isle. Reserve your Morehead City rental home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • In the Morehead City area, The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Booking your rental home 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • Some owners offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property managers typically offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.

  • If there's an individual Morehead City beach you crave, browse properties that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.

  • Lock your vacation home while you're out and about. Protect your property!
  • Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
