Welcome to Ange de Mer (Sea Angel). One of 2 cavernous suites in the newly restored Angels Share Inn: A boutique hotel located in the National Register Beaufort Historic District on Front Street, across the street from Beaufort Docks and waterfront, where yachts from all over the world come and go.
Each suite is completely separate; with private entrance, kitchen, living room, dining space, king bedroom, and bathroom with huge walk-in shower.
Steps to Eateries, Bars, and stores. Book a ferry at Beaufort Docks to local island beaches and Cape Lookout Lighthouse.
Savor coffee in a rocker on the front porch and watch the world go by.

Sticking to a rental home budget:

  • The earlier you can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are reserved early. Booking your rental home up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Morehead City area. Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Morehead City vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Morehead City area magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, travel guides have offers and deals for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Upon check-out, take a walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, take video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
