2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms / Two Blocks from the Waterfront
Welcome to our Starfish Cottage! Starfish Cottage is freshly refreshed and has two bedrooms and can accommodate five people – One bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed and the Master bedroom has a queen bed and en suite bathroom. There are 2 full baths (showers, no tubs). The front porch has a swing, chairs and a great view of the historic Beaufort Courthouse Square. There is a separate living room, a separate dining room, a full outfitted kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, central heat/ac, WIFI, extended cable, phone, cruiser bicycles and helmets, linens, beach towels, beach chairs, body boards, cooler, and a four burner propane grille. Coffee, paper products, and soaps (laundry and dishwasher detergents, and soaps) are supplied for short stays. The Starfish Cottage includes one parking spot. We are pet friendly, and 1 “well behaved” dog can accompany you with the payment of a $60 non-returnable pet fee. NO SMOKING.

About the Area

Located in Beaufort, this vacation home is in the city center. Beaufort Historic Site and Core Creek Bridge are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Morehead City Yacht Basin and Town Creek Marina. North Carolina Maritime Museum and Mount Maker Charters are also worth visiting.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to confirm you've collected everything. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property a final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a terrific stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
