When you walk in the door, you will see this is not just a beach condo. It is also our family's beach home and you will find it so much more of a home than your standard beach rental! I have been visiting in Atlantic Beach for the past 30 years so please feel complimentary to ask any questions you have about the unit or area attractions. Prior to and during your stay, I will also be available by phone, text and e-mail to answer any questions you may have.

When you arrive at the condo, you will find suitcases carts and grocery shopping carts as well as an elevator to make moving into the condo simple and fast. There is a screened sitting area in the front and a separate laundry room that has a full size washer and dryer. The condo itself is freshly painted and freshly decorated. Luxury plank floor throughout with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, entirely equipped kitchen, separate wet bar, oceanfront screen porch off the living room and a separate oceanfront balcony off of the master bedroom. The master has a King size bed with a Queen bed in the 2nd bedroom along with a private half bathroom. The 3rd bedroom has a twin bunkbed and a Full size bed. The couch in the living room also pulls out into a full size bed. There is a huge TV in the living room and TVs in all 3 Bedrooms as well as the kitchen bar area. All the TVs have cable as well as Roku sticks. WIFI is supplied. In the living room you will also find board games, playing cards, puzzles, DVDs, books, etc.

From the front door of our condo you are literally 30 seconds away from putting your toes on the beach!

At one end of our building is a picnic area with tables and charcoal grilles and at the other end is a swimming pool and gazebo overlooking the beach.

Underneath the condo is a storage room you will have access to which has two bicycles, beach chairs, umbrella, beach and pool toys, outdoor games for the kids (and the grown up kids) and fishing poles and tackle.

Directly across the street you have condo access to the pier and boatslips to keep your boat on the Bogue Sound as well as park your trailer. If you bring your boat, there is a public boat launch one mile away.

About the Area

Located in Atlantic Beach, this condo is on the beach. Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail and Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway. Traveling with kids? Consider North Carolina Maritime Museum, or check out an event or a game at Big Rock Stadium. Jet skiing and kayaking offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and ecotours nearby.

Tips and Tricks to get the best vacation property experience:

Finding the best value:

  • In the Morehead City area, The sooner you can book, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved very early. Reserving your rental six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • Summer months are high season in Atlantic Beach. To find the best value, change your trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Morehead City vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Some property management companies offer promotional rates for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses.   • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally available on booking pages. If they are not listed, contact the property owner before booking your home. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or charges may be applied to your invoice.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? Use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking.

Know before you go:

  • Add the host's contact info to your smartphone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out. Keep your property safe!
  • During arrival, record any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the host. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are an incredible resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to confirm you did not leave anything behind. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the property a final time and scan for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a great time? Most rental websites make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
