The room is located just blocks away from downtown Beaufort, full of stores and eateries, all within walking distance. The room itself is inside of a modest Eco-friendly hotel. There are two covered porches on the property, as well as a covered garage on the ground floor. For those of our guests who elect to bring a pet, we do have multiple areas on the ground floor where you can allow your family pets to do their business; there are doggy bags supplied in those areas. We do have a pet fee of $30 a nighttime plus tax.

It is one huge room with a queen bed as well as a full sized sleeper couch. It does have a full private bathroom, with a tub and shower combo. The kitchenette has a dishwasher and a two top stove with enough dishes and silverware for four people.

Strategies to get the perfect Beaufort rental experience:

When to visit Beaufort & When to book:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Morehead City area. To find the best value, consider changing your trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Morehead City vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Owners sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites often offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Morehead City area visitor guide magazines which will include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Morehead City visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Choose vacation dates and maximum budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. Pet-Friendly Suites with a small fee, short walk to Beaufort Waterfront has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is generally available online. If not, email the property manager before booking the home. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to establish what is best for your trip.
  • Are you looking for unique amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you must reserve a rental that allows animals. Get information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Often, property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.

Have a wonderful stay:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property.
  • To make certain damages are not linked to your family's visit, note any problem areas upon your arrival. Get in touch with the host immediately to relay your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a terrific resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the rental when you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Just before checking out, take a walk-through to confirm you have not forget anything. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the host isn't available, take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a great time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
