Tips and Tricks for getting the best Indian Beach vacation rental experience:

Find your perfect rental home:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Morehead City area. To book the most suitable vacation home within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Morehead City attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Morehead City vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Morehead City area visitors guide magazines that include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Morehead City area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Selecting the best rental home in Indian Beach:

  • First and foremost, have your family select trip dates and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Grand views of the beach from this ocean front condo!! Great amenities!! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Morehead City rental home search.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly available on booking pages. Otherwise, call the property management company before booking the vacation home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • If there's an individual Morehead City beach you are enamored with, search for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or costs could be applied to your agreement.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Get the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home. Put the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Note any damages to the property at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be very helpful if damages are assessed.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents many difficulties.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental while you are out. Keep your property safe!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to make sure you've collected everything. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property owners rely on good ratings to stimulate more bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
