10 bedroom, 6 bath home with private pool at the Point on Emerald Isle. The home is split into 2 duplexes so there are 2 family rooms, 2 kitchens and 2 laundry rooms!

Located at the highly sought after area of the island called The Point.

We completely made over the home in 2018 including a new saltwater pool, quartz counter tops, linens, appliances, paint, and floor throughout.

NEW in 2024!!! We have constructed a boardwalk all the way to the beach. Now it is even easier getting all of your beach gear out to the water.

You will adore the private walkway to the beach, deck overlooking a private pool, ceiling fans in every room, covered parking, Wi-Fi, and Intelligent TVs in every room.

NEWLY ADDED area to play cornhole and NEW enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water. (Added in 2021)

Being at the Point offers the option to play on the beach, picking up shells or walk around the inlet and discover the Sound.

Emerald Isle faces south so you have unobstructed vistas of the SUNRISE AND SUNSET from your upper and lower decks!

Located on the beach, this vacation home is in The Point, a neighborhood in Emerald Isle. Emerald Plantation and Salty Air Open Market are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Croatan National Forest and Hammocks Beach State Park. Salty Pirate Water Park and Emerald Forest Golf are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Get the most from your budget:

• Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To find the best value, try changing your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer great weather, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Morehead City vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
• The earlier your group can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your rental home six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
• Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
• Property managers typically offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is regularly available online. If you don't see them listed, call the host before booking your rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches.

• Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
• Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would at home.
• Double-check the property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at departure. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Walk through the rental one final time and scan for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, take photographs of the property to record its condition.
• After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent ratings to propel future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation.
