Historic 1883 David Williams home in the heart of Beaufort. Appreciate the tranquility and peaceful of Broad Street and walk to dinner at one of the famed eateries. Charmingly furnished and refreshed. Bicycle, kayak and paddle-board or take ferry access across Taylor's Creek to Carrot Island and Shackleford Banks and Cape Lookout. Prices set for 2 Bed 2 Bath townhouse. His and her bicycles available for use. Off street parking in private driveway or park on the street in front of the home.

NOTE: If you are looking for a private space with up-scale amenities and are here to discover this handsome area, this is a terrific place. We also allow a private Charter rental of our Fountain Sportfish Cruiser. Read the reviews as we have been have been doing this for years now. We respect your privacy and also welcome interacting with guests as much or as little as they like! We know tons about local attractions, eateries and all the beaches and waterways of this humongous county.

About the Area

Located in Beaufort, this vacation home is in the city center and near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Rachel Carson Reserve and Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail, while North Carolina Maritime Museum and Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center are cultural highlights. Mount Maker Charters and North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to reserve a Morehead City rental & When to go:

  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Beaufort. To find the best vacation home within budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite Morehead City restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
