Southern hospitality, delicious home cooking, and a stunning atmosphere in the heart of Emerald Isle are all combined at The Trading Post Southern Food & Spirits – one of Emerald Island’s favorite destinations for great easts and good times.
Offering a long list of down-home favorites, crave-worthy coastal fare, and a fun setting that makes it easy to kick back, relax, and swap a story or two, The Trading Post is a great spot for food, friends, and happy memories along the shoreline.
The Trading Post serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner to hungry Emerald Isle visitors, and each meal has its own infusion of southern flavor. For breakfast, patrons can saddle up to big plates of biscuits and gravy or chicken and waffles, while at lunch and dinner, hungry diners will want to dive into juicy burgers, seafood steamer selections, fried chicken, and tons of flavorful sides.
Our outdoor space has everything from fireplaces to cornhole to hula hoops. Plus, we even have live music to jazz up your meal.
The appetizing menu offers an array of possibilities that include seafood, burgers, fried green tomatoes, but we’re best known for our Shrimp-n-Grits. There’s just something about their special, homemade twist that keeps customers coming back craving more. It goes hand-in-hand with the laid back atmosphere, and there’s plenty of outdoor and indoor seating for visitors to unwind and take in the salty breezes. From a couple of drinks and a game of horseshoes with friends, to a hearty meal that everyone in the family will love, The Trading Post certainly has a lot to offer when it comes to delicious southern fun.
