Tips and Tricks for getting the best Indian Beach vacation rental experience:

How to get the best value:

  • In the Morehead City area, The earlier your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your rental up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Morehead City area. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Morehead City vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Many management companies supply Morehead City area visitors guides which include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Finding the best rental in Indian Beach:

  • Select a designated group leader, select your dates, and select a max budget.
  • Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Spacious, Two Bedroom Condo at the Center of the Crystal Coast has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally available online. If not, email the property owner before you book your home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to establish what is optimal for your vacation.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly property. Get specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction or event? Try a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home. We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or thermostat. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent many issues.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let crooks ruin your trip.
  • To ensure that no damages are attributed to your stay, make a record of any problem areas during check in. Contact the rental manager immediately to document any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property owners rely on great reviews to inspire future bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
