In addition to the outdoor shower on the pool deck, there is a full-sized bath on this level, with an entrance from both the pool deck and just off the kitchenette. This floor includes a laundry room and is where the elevator begins its service.
The second floor can also be known as the bedroom floor. Here you will find a spacious King Suite that has a soaking tub, glass surround shower, and double sinks. Tips and Tricks to get the best Morehead City vacation rental experience:
Sticking to a rental budget:
- To get the largest rental within budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at popular Morehead City attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Morehead City vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Look for your local Morehead City visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guide magazines have deals for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- To start, have your family select the best dates and a max budget.
- Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. Oceanview with elevator, private pool, golf cart, in Dolphin Ridge community has 5 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is regularly accessible on booking websites. If not, reach out to the host before booking the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches. You will need to establish what is suitable for your group.
- If there's an individual Morehead City beach you crave, search for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. .
- If your group is bringing pets, you will need a pet-friendly rental. Make sure to ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Often, property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
Have a great stay:
- Put the manager's information in your smartphone.
- To make sure no damages are linked to your family's visit, note any problem areas upon check in. E-mail the property manager immediately to document any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, stereo or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few issues.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers bothering your home life. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are away, just like you would at home.
- Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did you have a excellent vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
