Island Girl Sport Fishing invites you for a day of fishing fun and games on the Morehead City waters! Let Captain Brian Peele show you just how exciting and productive North Carolina fishing can be. Your guide has spent decades exploring the local waters, so he’ll know exactly what to do to put you on the fish.
His boat and your fishing platform is a 50’ custom Carolina sportfisher outfitted with twin 450 HP Cat engines. The boat is a lean fishing machine, stable and safe on the waves, with plenty of room to accommodate up to 6 anglers and have them fishing at the same time.
She has all the comforts of home, including an air-conditioned cabin with a TV, beds, a private toilet, and a kitchen. Capt. Brian will provide quality Shimano and Penn fishing equipment, and his vessel has a fighting chair and outriggers for every fishing situation.
You can also go spearfishing on your trip, the captain will provide the gear and all the instruction. If this is your first time to fish with a spear, you’re in for a great experience.
If you opt-in for a half day trip, you will focus on catching Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish in the inlets around the local beach. This is a great option for families.
If you’re up for more of an angling challenge, then the full day trip is just the thing for you. The majestic Billfish like Marlin and Sailfish are in the cards and catching one of them will be a challenge and a thrill. Other offshore favorite catches include Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo, to name just a few.
You’ll have a first mate on board, and he’ll be at your disposal for anything you might need. For his effort, a 15–20% tip is customary and appreciated. All you’ll need on the trip is snacks, drinks, food, and a cooler for the catch.
Come with your little ones and spend a day teaching them how to reel in their first fish, you’ll have a blast.
Join Capt. Brian and discover new fishing horizons with Island Girl Sport Fishing!
