Harkers Island has a fish with your name on it, so let Sound-N-Sea Charters help you catch it!
Around here it’s common to catch Amberjack, Cobia, King Mackerel, Bonnethead Shark, Black Seabass, Great Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, Bonito, Gummy Shark, Gag Grouper, Bluefish, False Albacore, and more if you come at the right time of year. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
You’ll be welcome aboard a 28’ Regulator center console with room for 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Rods and reels are supplied for you, as well as, bait and lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
It’s always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. There will be some bottled water on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Sound-N-Sea Charters II.
